About Chef Solomon Ince

Cooking has always been more than a profession for me — it’s a way to connect, create, and bring beauty to everyday life. My journey began in Burlington, Vermont, where I discovered the power of seasonal cooking while working in kitchens like Farmhouse Tap & Grill, Café Hot, and Poco. Those experiences taught me the value of grounding food in its place: letting fresh ingredients and honest technique do the talking.

I later moved to New York City to refine my craft at the highest level, training at the Michelin-starred Restaurant Daniel. There, I honed the precision, discipline, and creativity that come with cooking in one of the world’s most respected kitchens. From intricate plating on the Garde Manger station to the intensity of the fish line, I gained the technical depth and attention to detail that I now bring to private households.

As a private chef, I merge this fine dining foundation with a warm, client-focused approach. My style is rooted in French technique, but always guided by the seasons — vibrant market vegetables, responsibly sourced proteins, and thoughtful flavor pairings. I specialize in elegant, health-driven cuisine that adapts to the rhythms of your household, whether that means refined plated dinners, family-style buffets, or menus tailored to specific dietary needs.

What I offer is more than just meals: it’s consistency, discretion, and a dining experience that elevates everyday living. My goal is to bring the artistry of Michelin dining into the comfort of your home — with professionalism, creativity, and care in every detail.
